Christmas!

So, this week was similar to Amy's. The exceptions being that I didn't get shingles or a ticket for my zone leaders :) However, Sister Carroll and I were really really sick this week. But, we won't talk about that. Let's talk about the miracles!

This week we met with the Ingos. I absolutely love them! They are preparing to go to the temple to get sealed and they are just so amazing and adorable and I just love them so much! They took us to see the temple lights and it was super fun! I also got to see Sister Diwiggans while I was there! (from the MTC) so it was great!

This week was my official year mark (happy anniversary mom and dad!) and I was blessed to be able to go to the temple on the 18th! While I was in the temple, I thought a lot about everyone. I thought a lot about my mission so far. Honestly, the time has flown. Also, I'm feeling a huge sense of urgency. I thought that this time would never end, but now that I'm reaching the home-stretch, I don't want it to end (even though I love you all dearly). There is no greater cause than to be serving the Lord and helping those of his sheep that have strayed to return to him. I feel so much love for the people here and I feel such a strong desire to help them in whatever way that I can. It was just a reminder to me of how God feels about every one of us. I love this feeling and I love doing the Lord's work in Arizona!

I also absolutely love the Christmas season! I love it so much because it really isn't about the trees or the lights or the "presents, boxes or bags" Christmas comes without those things. Christmas came in the form of a child. A Savior. Something so small that became so great. This Christmas, think of the seemly small things that we can give to the Savior every day.Think. And I mean, really, THINK about something that you can give the Savior. It could be gratitude. It could be a smile to a stranger. It could be opening a door for someone. But no matter how small it is, remember: By small and simple means are great things brought to pass.

I love you all! Have a great week!

Love,
Steph
